Sausage Hash

This recipe was one of those that came out of a pure hungry weekend morning let’s throw this together and see what happens….turned out to be a fave especially for Gracie ❤️
1/2 pound your fave breakfast sausage
1/2 bag of tater tots (yep tater tots)
1/2 Small bell pepper diced
1/2 small onion diced
1/2-3/4 C water
seasoned salt to taste
Spray a large skillet that you have a top for with cooking spray then add all the frozen tots and peppers/onions at once. Make a hole in the middle of the tots and add in the sausage. Pour some of the water over the tots and turn heat on med-high and cover with top. This lets the frozen tots steam and start to soften. After a few minutes start to chop up sausage so that it starts to crumble. As the tots soften begin mashing them flat so they become more like hash browns. Once sausage is browned and tots are all soft and mashed down sprinkle with seasoned salt then stir everting together and continue to cook and let brown. Flip in sections with spatula until it gets where you want it.
You can eat just as is or as shown in our photo It’s amazing with an over easy egg and hollandaise sauce!! Enjoy ☺️ 😋
